Although the hand zipper and lifting chain on the hand chain hoist are both chains, their roles, specifications and working methods are completely different and cannot be used interchangeably.

To put it simply: the hand zipper is the "operating end" and is responsible for inputting power; the lifting chain is the "working end" and is responsible for carrying heavy objects.

The specific differences are mainly reflected in the following aspects:

· Core function: The hand zipper chain is a drive chain, which is pulled by the operator to drive the internal gear; the lifting chain is a load-bearing chain, which is directly hooked and bears the full weight of the heavy object. · Force and strength: Hand zippers only bear the pulling force of human hands and have little force; lifting chains bear huge loads and are usually made of high-strength grade 80 alloy steel and have been heat treated. · Appearance diameter: Hand zippers are thin, usually about 5mm in diameter; lifting chains are thicker, with diameters of 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, etc. being common. ·Surface color: Most hand zippers are silver-white (galvanized); lifting chains are mostly black (boiled black). · Number of shapes: The hand zipper is a single ring chain; the lifting chain is usually multiple (and an even number). · Installation position: The hand zipper is connected to the hand chain wheel; the lifting chain is connected to the lifting sprocket.

All in all, these two chains are designed for completely different functions in one piece of equipment and cannot under any circumstances be used interchangeably.
